It was our home for five years and we had great adventures in Scandinavia, Southern Europe, Eastern Europe, the Balkans, North Africa and South America. We could go anywhere with this off-roader pur sang. Our Renault TRM2000 is professionally handmade built by Whitewood and is very comfortable for two adults plus child.

The living unit is for two people with a possibility for a third bed. It is a sealed container of a 5cm aluminum sandwich. The entrance is at the back via a sturdy staircase through a safe door and the veranda on which you can sit with two people. The interior was built by Whitewood and consists of a 2-person alcove of 2.05 x 1.40 m, a train seat with table and two benches, a kitchen with compressor refrigerator (Waeco), a four-burner gas stove and sink with tap, extractor unit. There is also an indoor shower and Jabsco toilet that uses the gray water for flushing.

Technically, the truck is in excellent condition, in recent years we have improved and renewed a lot, such as:
- the complete air-hydraulic braking system (wheel brake cylinders, brake shoes, brake springs, master cylinder, four-circuit valve, hand brake boosters) and supplemented with wabsco air dryer;
- the radiator
- The engine is replaced at 100,000 km (Type MAN 720)
- Friction plates and pressure group (Valeo)
- Starter engine (BOSCH) overhaul and flywheel replacement
- New batteries (DYNABLOC)
- Michelin xforce tires (20.000km)
- New shock absorbers (4x) (SACHS)

Ventilated ZF drivetrain (Differentials, portalaxles, gearbox, transferbox).
Extra air suspension on the rear axle, adjustable from the driver cabin.
Portal axles: 40cm axle clearance, 90cm wading clearance

The mileage is 151,000 km, we have driven more than 85,000 km and have no complaints. It was a nice house that took us everywhere where others stopped. There was even someone who claimed that this truck could climb a tree????, but it also drives well on the highway.
The engine is a 4-cylinder 3.6 liter turbo diesel (MAN 720) that delivers 120 hp, enough to really get you everywhere.

The drive has 3 positions:
- “Route”, this is the standard rear-wheel drive for paved roads
- “Terrain", this is the 4x4 drive with engaged low-gear and longitudinal lock, intended for gravel roads and terrain (not on paved roads!!)
- “diff lock", this is the rear axle lock for very difficult conditions

With the wheel size 335/80/R20 you can get anywhere in no time.
Weight distribution over axles is 50/50, maximum traction in every situation!
Maximum inclination forward is 45%, sideways 22%
