This truck is fully built and equipped.
It is designed for a family with one child or a couple.

It is registered in Germany but currently in Mexico. It is over 25 years old and can therefore be easily imported in the US without modifications. Only 2.5% import tax. We drive the truck to the US.

We are living in it since beginning of 2021 and travelled Europe, North Africa, North- and Central America with it.

The truck is a 1987 Steyr 12M18, manufactured for the Austrian Federal Army. The truck has permanent 4WD, reduction gear, all three differential lockers and disc brakes an all four wheels.
With about 230 PS it can go about 75 mph, and has an average mileage of about 12 mpg.

The empty living cabin was built by Alustar using sandwich panels from Boxmanufaktur in Germany.
The built took place from 2018 to 2020.

The truck is used but in good condition and well maintained. Before we moved in we installed new springs and shock absorbers. When the truck was moved more regulary, a couple of problems came up, but we took care of all of them. Thereby we installed a new clutch, new steering rods, and several new sealings in the front axle. All this repairs were done by a Steyr specialist in Austria.
Since then the truck is running without any problem.
