REDUCED AS MUST BE SOLD
Up for sale is my 1993 Leyland Daf Expedition Truck.
The base truck has undergone a complete restoration including the chassis and engine, before having a custom built habitation box made for it.
Motorcraft Adventure windows have been installed along with a full roof of Victron Solar Panels, and a complete Victron electrical installation.
The interior of the truck is currently 95% complete and only requires the new owner to finish the shower room and locate where they want the waste tank to sit (all parts are supplied with the truck).
The vehicle interior has been custom built out of lightweight veneer plywood, and has been finished to a very high standard. There are 2 large smart 12v televisions installed
Heating and hot water is provided with a TRUMA heating system. There are two brand new LPG tanks included with the truck along with an external filler ready to be installed, currently the truck runs in Propane, but changing the tanks over to the LPG system takes around 1 hour.
There is a split 600ltr water tank located underneath the bed, this is fitted with Victron level sensors that communicate with the Victron system.
The cab of the truck has just been fully re-trimmed with the cab being sound proofed and then carpet lined. Custom made leather seats have been fitted as well as an Engel Fridge in the centre, in addition to this there are 3 Navigation screens (on road and off road). The cab has been designed to allow a future owner to add a ‘crawl through’ into the habitation should they decide that’s right for them.
Both Thuraya and Iridium satellite communications are installed into the truck and will be supplied to the new owner.
On the roof of the cab is a custom made roof rack fitted with 3 custom made aluminium roof boxes with security locks.
There are also 4 sand ladders fitted to the vehicle for quick access when needed. The spare is currently mounted underneath the drivers side of the vehicle, however this could be relocated easily to the rear.
This truck build has cost in excess of £110,000 to get to this stage, and I am only now selling due to moving to a home which no longer provides adequate space.
The current weight of the vehicle is around 7.8tonnes, so fully laden will require an HGV license to drive it.
Please contact me for the latest videos and pictures of the truck as the YouTube video is a year or so old and a lot has been done to the truck since.
Please call, WhatsApp or email for full details.
