History of the car:
We bought the car in October 2022, from the 3rd owner, who had it for 6 years. It has full service history available. End of September 2022, previous to our purchase, the car had all filters and fluids replaced (we have a detailed receipt of the garage of the previous owner). We then had the car independently checked by Dekra in Cape Town (a full 3 hour technical inspection, report available) - which prompted us to replace the two front tyres with new Dunlop AT3’s, the right bush arm, the wind shield wipers and 2 fuses (receipt of garage also available).
After our first 10.000km we had the car serviced by Toyota Livingstone in December 2022 (receipt available).
Fitment
We took the car in October 2022 to a professional 4x4 fitment centre in Cape Town and had the following fitment done (receipt available):
- back row: both seats removed for instalment of drawer system with fridge slide and 60L Engel fridge
- middle row: only one seat removed to allow space for a second spare wheel
(the double seater is still there, which allows to take two extra passengers)
- front row: fire extinguisher installed
- roof: instalment of Frontrunner roof bars + hardshell Hannibal rooftop tent +
awning
Currently not fitted onto the car, but comes with the car:
- Frontrunner Cheetah roof-rack (specifically for Prado), ideal for when you take the rooftop tent off (retail value: 800 dollar)
- All three seats that were removed for fitment purposes (we have them readily available in Cape Town)
Tyres
- Condition front tyres: excellent (Dunlop AT tyres with ~15.000km on the clock)
- Condition back tyres: good
- Spare tyre 1 with cover (mounted on the back door of the car)
- Spare tyre 2 with cover (currently inside the car)
- Double drawer system with new locks + spare keys
Storage options
- 2 lockable drawers + fridge slide
- 4 large dust proof containers that fit next to the 60 liter fridge
- handy multi-sack storage bag that allows for storage on both sides of the gear box
- eye bolts mounted onto the drawer system allow for secure storage of otherwise "loose" bagage (with use of straps)
